Zakład Produkcji Części Zamiennych do Maszyn Rolniczych Bogdan Kowalski started to operate in 1982. In 2012, as a result of a merger between ZPCZ-Bogdan Kowalski and Kuźnia Zakłady Mechaniczne Września Sp. z o.o., the company Produkcja Maszyn Rolniczych i Części Zamiennych KOWALSCY Spółka Jawna was founded. The history of the company is based only on the acquired companies, i.e. ZPCZ Bogdan Kowalski and Kuźnia Zakłady Mechaniczne Września Sp. z o.o.

At the beginning of its business activities, the company was engaged in the production of ready-made agricultural machinery - sugar beet harvesters. By 1988, the company had produced several hundred of these harvesters. In 1989, as a result of a deep decline in demand for harvesters, the company decided to change its offer and produce spare parts for agricultural machinery. In the following years, the range of manufactured parts amounted to almost 4,000 items, which classified the company as one of the leaders among manufacturers of parts for agricultural machinery in Poland. The company is also one of the few Polish manufacturers that produce all the parts for rotary mowers.

AgroKowalski Sp. z o.o. is also a leading manufacturer of rotary drum mowers in the Polish market. In addition to rotary drum mowers, it manufactures: tables (attachments) for domestic rapeseed production

New machines manufactured since 2013 include a series of lightweight Z030/1, Z030/2, Z030/3-disc mowers and KB16 rear-side flail mowers, 4-rotor carousel tedders for spreading mowed low-stem green crops. The machines with the symbols Z586 and Z586/1 introduced for sale in 2014 are 1-rotor carousel rakes. In 2015, the company KOWALSCY started manufacturing KB14 rear-side flail mowers and KBT16 rear-front flail mowers. In 2016, the KBT18 rear-side flail mowers were also introduced into our offer. In addition to sales through over 100 dealers in Poland, our machines are also sold in many European countries, particularly in Germany, Finland, Ireland, the UK, Serbia, Romania, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Spain, Hungary, Moldova, the Czech Republic, and Kosovo. When working on the improvement of our products and services, we particularly focus on achieving the highest quality and reducing lead times and customer deliveries to a minimum. Efficient processing of individual orders for non-standard machine parts (also of foreign production) and expert advice are further and equally important manifestations of the company's activities. In 2023, Produkcja Maszyn Rolniczych i Części Zamiennych Kowalscy Sp. Jawna was transformed into AGROKOWALSKI Sp. z o.o.
